In order to obtain a visa to Djibouti applicants should provide the following:

Tourist visa

1. Valid, signed U.S. passport. Must be valid for at least 6 months after departing and contain at least one blank visa page.
2. 2passport-type photograph.
3. 2 filled out visa application forms
4. Printed and filled out order form.
5. Copy of round trip airline ticket or itinerary.

Business visa

1. Valid, signed U.S. passport. Must be valid for at least 6 months after departing and contain at least one blank visa page.
2. 2 passport-type photograph.
3. 2 filled out visa application forms
4. Printed and filled out order form.
5. Copy of round trip airline ticket or itinerary.
6. A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Djibouti, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
The letter must explain:
• Nature of business to be performed;
• Name and address of reference to be visited;
• Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
• The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Fees and proccessing time

Fees: US$ - 105, Processing time - 4 days.

Additional information

Tourist or business visa is usually valid for three months from date issued, for a single entry. Length of stay not to exceed 30 days.
