On the plains of Central Asia there are many cities with hundreds of architectural monuments of different epochs. Among the most famous are Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz, Termez and Samarkand. These cities were the centers of science and the art. Great architects created palaces, mosques and mausoleums, world famous monuments of ancient architecture, to remember Alexander the Great and Chengiz Khan. Many of these masterpieces did not survive, but by visiting those which have been preserved it is possible to glimpse the pages of the past. Your trip to Uzbekistan will be unforgettable. You will see minarets, grandiose madrassahs and mosques, palaces and mausoleums decorated with incredible ceramic tiles, noisy and colorful oriental bazaars, interesting legends, warm hospitality and ancient traditions of local inhabitants.
