Lost Naturalization Papers
- The following information, provided by the Department of State, explains what to do if your
have lost your naturalization papers and/or certificate.

Information Center if you have additional questions.
Lost Naturalization Papers
- Unfortunately, if you have lost your naturalization papers, the Department of State will no
longer accept INS letters of verification and receipts. Please contact INS to expedite the
replacement of your Naturalization Certificate before applying for the passport.
