Visa to Turkmenistan: Tourist Visa, Business Visa

In order to obtain a visa to Turkmenistan applicants should provide the following:

Tourist visa

1. Two filled out visa application forms
2. Printed and filled out order form.
3. Your valid U.S. passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
4. Two color passport type photos
5. Letter of Invitation from Turkmenistan, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Business visa

1. Two filled out visa application forms
2. Printed and filled out order form.
3. Your valid U.S. passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.
4. Two color passport type photos
5. Letter of Invitation from Turkmenistan, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
6. Business letter of responsibility is required:
   • The letter must be addressed to the Embassy of Turmenistan.
   • The letter must explain the nature of business to be performed.
   • The letter must be on company letterhead and signed by someone at your company other than you.

Additional Information

Tourist or business visa for Turkmenistan is issued for a single entry valid for three months from date of issue, for the dates of entry and exit not to exceed those stated on your invitation or tourist confirmation (for a maximum of three months).
