Khast-Imam Madrasah in Tashkent
Khast-Imam and Barak Khan Madrassah were founded in the 16th century in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Khast-Imam complex features an ornate façade of blue-tiled mosaic concealing a rose garden courtyard with 35 hujras Teleshayakh Mosque which contains an important religious library, the Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum, built over the grave of Abubekr Mukhmmad Kaffal-Shashi, and the Imam al-Bukhari Institute, a training center for Moslem clergy.
